Of course there is. In exchange for granting a perpetual license for our flagship product, an $8000 package that accounts for the majority of ASA’s revenue, you have to sit through a 5 second ad while M1 starts up, like the one on the right. We make a lot more on M1 sales than on ad sales. This just helps take the edge off of giving away so much product. 5 seconds versus $8k... sounds like a good deal. The “regular” version of M1 OT is still available if you want to stare at our super-interesting splash screen for those same 5 seconds instead of the ad!
